What is skin hydration therapy?

Skin hydration therapy is a procedure that injects a solution of high concentration hyaluronic acid into the skin. Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in your skin, and it can hold up to 1000 times its own weight in water. 

Why is this important? In your late twenties, you start to lose your hyaluronic acid, and all the water it holds. That loss contributes to signs of ageing. 

Skin hydration therapy replaces your lost hyaluronic acid along with the water it contains, plumping and hydrating your skin, making your face look smoother, fresher, and reducing fine lines. First and foremost, this type of therapy is about anti-ageing rather than regaining lost youth. Also, the products we use stimulates your body's own collagen production, further improving your skin quality.

When you visit us for the first time, we understand you might be a little worried and nervous. But, you'll be in the caring hands of Anna, our highly qualified and experienced aesthetic nurse, who will be with you throughout your entire time with us. Anna will talk you through everything that's going to happen during the procedure, and she'll be available for all your aftercare needs.

Your consultation

As part of your consultation, we'll discuss the results you'd like to achieve and advise you on how realistic they are. It’s important to remember we cannot always give you what you want. We will examine your nose shape and profile, and how the changes you want will relate to the rest of your face. We want to ensure any procedure maintains the right balance and symmetry of your overall appearance. We will never carry out a procedure that we feel is unnecessary, or if it will look excessive in comparison to the rest of your facial structure.

All procedures carry some element of risk. We will discuss the risks with you and explain the process to follow should you experience any side effects during, or after, your visit to us.
